Luke Carter MD
Luke's passion for construction was sparked as a teenager and he subsequently studied Property Management and Construction at University. He has been working in the property industry for over 20 years.
Luke has a wide knowledge of both commercial and residential property transactions and is a specialist in seeking planning permission on both greenfield and brownfield sites. He has a proven track record of obtaining planning consent, achieving planning gain, and building out projects.
Over the last three years he has worked on projects totaling over 15 million GDV. He is a Lloyds approved commercial client and works with two private investors.
One of the recent highlights in 2022 was flipping a site in Burcot on Thames with river frontage within 12 months. His current focus is obtaining planning and building in Oxfordshire, and he is currently working on a stunning farmyard conversion in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Luke is well-known for high quality and attractive building and has a dynamic, creative, and vibrant approach. He is highly adept at project managing the trickiest of builds.
David Cheyne
David was Head of the Corporate Department for Linklaters from 2000 to 2005, and during the same period was ranked as the joint highest rated M&A lawyer in the United Kingdom according to the Chamber Directory. In September 2011, David was awarded City A.M.'s Lawyer of the Year award. At the time of his departure from Linklaters in September 2011, David was the most senior corporate lawyer at the firm and one of Europe's most experienced M&A practitioners. Prior to joining Akira as a Senior Advisor in 2015, David served as Vice Chairman of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Investment Banking at Moelis & Co. in London, where his responsibilities included providing technical leadership and counsel on deal execution.
